Who I Am

MS&T president Michael Castengera has held virtually every position in television from reporter, assignment manager, assistant news director, news director and station manager.  He has worked in markets small (Beaumont and Corpus Christi, Texas) Medium (Jacksonville, Oklahoma City, Lexington, Fort Myers) and large (St. Louis, Miami).

In addition he has worked as a newspaper reporter and editor in the United States (Orlando Sentinel and Jacksonville Journal) and overseas (The West Australian) as well as being a teacher in some of the most prestigious colleges in America  -- the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri; Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri; and the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, in Athens, Georgia, where he teaches presently.
